Description

The Mitras 910013 Aluminium Face-Fix Overbox is designed as a practical repair solution for an existing recessed meter box. It is fitted directly to the brickwork surrounding the existing meter box, allowing a damaged or unsightly enclosure to be covered without removing the original recessed box.

Manufactured from white powder-coated aluminium, the Mitras IS5040 Face-Fix Overbox measures approximately 525mm wide x 725mm high x 50mm deep. Its face-fix design provides an alternative to architrave-style overboxes that attach to the inside of the existing meter box.

Fixings are supplied for installation. Before ordering, check the dimensions of the existing recessed meter box and the available surrounding brickwork to ensure the overbox is suitable for the installation.

Installation

The Mitras 910013 Face-Fix Overbox is screwed directly onto the brickwork surrounding the existing recessed meter box. This allows the existing meter box to remain in position while the overbox provides a new external enclosure.

Ensure there is sufficient sound brickwork surrounding the existing meter box for secure installation and check the overbox dimensions before ordering.
