Description

The Mitras 910012 Aluminium Slimline Overbox is designed as a repair solution for an existing recessed slimline meter box. It fits to the inside of the existing meter box, allowing a damaged or unsightly outer enclosure to be covered without removing the complete recessed box.

Manufactured from white powder-coated aluminium, the Mitras IS5039 measures approximately 285mm wide x 840mm high x 75mm deep and is supplied with fixings.

This slimline overbox is designed for installations where a narrow meter box enclosure is required. Before ordering, check the dimensions and fixing arrangement of the existing recessed meter box carefully to ensure compatibility.

Installation

The Mitras 910012 Slimline Overbox is fixed to the inside of the existing recessed meter box. This differs from face-fix overboxes that are secured directly to the surrounding brickwork.

Check the existing meter box dimensions and fixing arrangement before ordering to confirm that the IS5039 is suitable for the installation.
