Description

The Mitras 910003 Aluminium Surface Mounted Gas Meter Box Cover is designed to fit over compatible MK1 and MK2 surface-mounted gas meter boxes. It provides a practical way to cover a damaged, worn or unsightly existing meter box without replacing the complete enclosure.

Manufactured from aluminium with a white finish, the Mitras IS5003 measures 475mm wide x 520mm high x 235mm deep. The overbox is designed to hook over the existing meter box back plate, allowing the original gas meter box installation to remain in place.

Before ordering, check the type and external dimensions of the existing surface-mounted gas meter box and confirm that the original back plate is suitable for this style of overbox.

Installation

The Mitras 910003 overbox is designed to fit over a compatible MK1 or MK2 surface-mounted gas meter box by hooking over the existing back plate. The existing back plate therefore needs to be present and suitable for the overbox to locate correctly.

Check the condition of the existing installation and compare the overall dimensions before ordering.
