Mitras Brown Aluminium Architrave Overbox

The Mitras 910021 Brown Aluminium Architrave Overbox is designed as a repair solution for an existing recessed meter box. It is the brown version of the Mitras IS5002 architrave overbox and is intended to be fixed to the inside of the existing recessed meter box rather than directly to the surrounding brickwork.

Manufactured from brown powder-coated aluminium, the Mitras IS5055 measures approximately 414mm wide x 600mm high x 65mm deep. It is supplied with fixings and provides a practical way to improve or repair the external appearance of a compatible recessed meter box while leaving the original enclosure in place.

A white version of this overbox is also available under product code IS5002, model 910002.

Installation

The Mitras 910021 Architrave Overbox is designed to fit to the inside of the existing recessed meter box. It should not be confused with face-fix or universal overboxes that are secured directly to the surrounding brickwork.

Before ordering, check the dimensions and condition of the existing recessed meter box to ensure the IS5055 is suitable for the installation.
