Description

The Mitras 910015 Large Aluminium Face-Fix Overbox is designed as a repair solution for existing recessed meter boxes. It is fixed directly to the brickwork surrounding the recessed meter box, allowing a damaged or unsightly enclosure to be covered without removing the original box.

Manufactured from white powder-coated aluminium, the Mitras IS5044 provides a larger face-fix option for installations where additional coverage is required. The manufacturer datasheet gives approximate external dimensions of 600mm wide x 850mm high x 50mm deep, with fixings supplied.

Before ordering, check the dimensions of the existing recessed meter box and the available surrounding brickwork to ensure the overbox is suitable for the installation.

Installation

The Mitras 910015 Large Face-Fix Overbox is screwed directly onto the brickwork surrounding the existing recessed meter box. This allows the existing meter box to remain in place while the overbox provides a new external enclosure.

Ensure there is sufficient sound brickwork around the existing meter box for secure installation and check the overall dimensions before ordering.
