Description

The Mitras Recessed Electricity Meter Box M01023 is a versatile domestic electricity meter enclosure designed to accommodate all domestic electricity meters. Its recessed design allows the box to be built neatly into an external wall and is designed to complement the appearance of a standard recessed gas meter box.

Designed as a universal solution for domestic electricity meter installations, the M01023 features pre-drilled cable entry positions and allows cable entry through the face of the wall or via the cavity, providing flexibility to suit a wide range of installations.

Manufactured from durable glass reinforced plastic (GRP), the meter box is weather resistant and designed for long-term outdoor use. The GRP construction will not rot or corrode, while the enclosure is also fire retardant to E.S.I. Standard 12-3.

The Mitras M01023 features a fitted baseboard, is supplied with a meter box key and complies with BS 8567:2012 requirements for outdoor electricity meter cupboards.

Installation

The Mitras M01023 is designed for recessed installation into an external wall. The required brickwork opening measures 365mm wide x 535mm high x 150mm deep.

The box features pre-drilled cable entry positions, with cable entry available through the face of the wall or via the cavity, providing flexibility during installation.

Replacement Door

A replacement door is available separately for this meter box. The Mitras M00034 replacement door measures 383mm wide x 550mm high.

Please Note: Meter boxes are designed for outdoor use. Due to the nature of the GRP material and manufacturing process, the product may have minor cosmetic imperfections, including scuffs and scratches. These do not affect the performance or functionality of the meter box.
