Description

The Mitras Shallow Recessed Electricity Meter Box M44011 is a compact domestic electricity meter enclosure designed for installations where a standard-depth recessed meter box is unsuitable. With a shallow 120mm brickwork opening depth, it is particularly suitable for many timber frame developments and other installations where wall depth is restricted.

Similar in overall size and appearance to a standard recessed electricity meter box, the M44011 provides a practical space-saving solution while remaining suitable for domestic electricity meters. It features a fitted baseboard and allows cable entry through the face of the wall or via the cavity.

Manufactured from durable glass reinforced plastic (GRP), the meter box is weather resistant and designed for long-term outdoor use. The GRP construction will not rot or corrode, and the enclosure is fire retardant to E.S.I. Standard 12-3.

The Mitras M44011 complies with BS 8567:2012 requirements for outdoor electricity meter cupboards.

Installation

The Mitras M44011 is designed for shallow recessed installation into an external wall. The required brickwork opening measures 345mm wide x 535mm high x 120mm deep.

Cable entry can be made through the face of the wall or via the cavity, providing flexibility for different installation requirements.
