Description

The Mitras National Grid ETM Extension Kit G60041 is designed to increase the height of an existing National Grid Gas Semi-Buried Gas Meter Box G60032, allowing the installation to accommodate a prepayment gas meter.

The extension cover attaches directly to the existing semi-buried meter box, with the existing lid then fitted to the front of the extension. This provides a practical way to adapt an existing G60032 installation without replacing the complete meter box.

Manufactured from durable glass reinforced plastic (GRP), the extension is weather resistant and designed for outdoor use. The GRP construction will not rot or corrode, helping provide a long-lasting extension solution for compatible semi-buried gas meter installations.

The kit is supplied with a meter bracket and copper outlet pipe required for the extension installation.

Installation

The Mitras G60041 is designed to attach to an existing National Grid G60032 semi-buried gas meter box. Once fitted, the existing meter box lid is mounted to the front of the extension cover.

By increasing the available height within the enclosure, the extension converts the existing semi-buried installation into one that can accommodate a prepayment meter.
