Description

The Mitras MK2 Unibox G02026 is a universal domestic gas meter box designed to provide greater flexibility for modern gas meter installations, including J42 regulators, smart meters and prepayment meters.

The MK2 design incorporates pre-moulded pipe knockouts within the body of the enclosure, allowing installers to configure inlet and outlet positions more easily. This provides greater installation flexibility while helping to make fitting quicker and more straightforward.

An integrated lid locking mechanism provides improved security, while advanced moulded lid hinges are designed to offer greater durability and convenient access to the meter and associated equipment.

Manufactured from durable glass reinforced plastic (GRP), the brown MK2 Unibox provides a robust enclosure for domestic gas meter installations and complies with BS 8499:2017 specifications.

Installation

The Mitras MK2 Unibox has been designed with installer flexibility in mind. Pre-moulded pipe knockouts within the body of the enclosure make it easier to create the required inlet and outlet positions for the installation.

This flexible arrangement makes the G02026 particularly suitable for installations involving J42 regulators and the latest smart and prepayment gas meters.

Replacement Lid

A replacement brown lid is available separately for the G02026. The compatible replacement is the Mitras G02027 MK2 Unibox Spare Lid.

A white version of the complete MK2 Unibox is also available under model number G02028, with the corresponding G02029 white spare lid.

Please Note: Meter boxes are designed for outdoor use. Due to the nature of the GRP material and manufacturing process, the product may have minor cosmetic imperfections, including scuffs and scratches. These do not affect the performance or functionality of the meter box.
